Cleaning high rise buildings is no easy task. Traditional methods often cannot reach every window, which is why cradle window cleaning exists. Using suspended platforms, our operatives work with precision and safety to clean even the most complex façades.
At Sentrex, cradle cleaning is part of our complete commercial window cleaning service. We help businesses across the UK maintain a professional image, protect building assets, and create spotless results at any height.

At Sentrex, cradle cleaning is part of our complete commercial window cleaning service. We help businesses across the UK maintain a professional image, protect building assets, and create spotless results at any height.
Cradle window cleaning uses a suspended platform, often called a gondola, that is fixed at roof level and supported by cables or rails. Operatives stand inside the cradle and control its movement, travelling up, down, and sideways until every part of the building is clean.
This method is designed for properties that are too tall or complex for ladders, cherry pickers, or water fed poles. It gives our team a safe and stable platform to work from, while ensuring every glass panel is cleaned to perfection.
A cradle is more than just a platform. It is a carefully engineered system that allows controlled movement across the entire façade.
The result is full access without compromise. Our teams combine the cradle with purified water systems to provide streak free finishes that last.
Not every property requires cradle systems, but there are times when it becomes the clear choice.
If you manage one of these property types, cradle cleaning provides an efficient, compliant, and professional solution.
Safety is non negotiable. At Sentrex, every cradle system we use is maintained and tested to meet UK Health and Safety Executive standards.
Choosing a professional partner like Sentrex ensures cradle cleaning is delivered safely and reliably, with your peace of mind guaranteed.
Cradle cleaning is not always required, which is why we offer alternative access systems tailored to different buildings.
By combining cradle cleaning with these methods, we ensure every property is cleaned using the safest and most efficient approach.
