What Social Housing Cleaning includes
We understand the needs of landlords, and letting agencies, as well as being familiar with tenancy inventory checklists. Sentrex have our own detailed end of lease checklist to work to, covering all aspects of the typical tenancy check list. Below is a step-by-step description of our end of tenancy cleaning process. if there is something more you would like to be included, just let us know.
Sentrex’s cleaning staff usually start in the kitchen as this is often the most problematic area of end of tenancy cleaning. We will clean all of the appliances, including the oven, stove top and range hood. We will then move onto the white goods including the dishwasher, fridge, freezer (including defrosting), the washing machine and dryer. if present, we will also clean the smaller kitchen goods such as the toaster and microwave, inside and out. From there we will move onto clearing out and cleaning the cupboards, including handles and doors. Then we can move onto cleaning the sink and taps. Finally for the kitchen, we will wipe down all surfaces and mop the floor.
We will remove limescale from tiles and clean bathroom mirrors and shelves before moving onto sanitising the toilet. We will then thoroughly clean the bath or shower. Our team can then clean and dust the radiators and/or towel rails. After that, we will move onto some of the easily neglected areas, such as removing dust from the extractor fan. Then we’ll move onto the floor cleaning including hoovering and mopping the floor.
Living room and bedroom cleaning
Our end of tenancy cleaners will clean everything in the main living spaces. This will include light switches, door handles and plug sockets. We will dust all surfaces, removing dust and cobwebs. Then we can get onto the window cleaning, including window sills and window frames, picture frames and mirrors. Last of all, we will move onto carpet cleaning and mopping the floors. We can also clean upholstery including chairs and sofas.
What we need in order to provide you with social housing cleaning services:
- Access to your property.
- Running cold and hot water, lights and electricity.
- Parking space close to your home.
- No personal belongings should be left inside the property. Furniture can be present but bear in mind that we do not move heavy furniture.
- Fridge/freezer must be emptied and defrosted at least 24 hours prior to cleaning
